Courses For Kids: College and Career: Figuring Out Life After High School

In this workshop, students will be presented with different paths, finding the best-fit college, and creating a plan to reach their future goals.

I went to college not knowing what I really wanted to do. There were no conversations, just "You have to go to college." I changed my major 5 times and transferred universities.

This experience has led me to work with high school students to help them figure out Life After High School and create a plan. In this class, students will explore options such as trade and vocational, Gap Year programs, and choosing a college based off of their future goals. Students will - Brainstorm and visualize their future. - Take a personality test - Figure out a path or paths to get to their future goals - And more
