Cicely Carr, M. Ed is a powerful educator and life coach for high school students and adults. She is charismatic and uplifting making each event memorable.

Bio:

Cicely Carr is a full-time creative and educational entrepreneur. She recently opened a bookstore and creative space called Kindred Creatives Art and Literary Press in Lewisville, TX. She spent five years teaching English and Special Education in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and is certified in ELAR, Special Education, and ESL. She has a passion for working with students with a focus on leadership development, college planning, career planning, reading literacy, and more. She was able to get a great amount of experience while working as a Career and College Planning Coach, an AmeriCorps volunteer with City Year, a Girl Scout Community Partnership Specialist, and served as the Youth Director for the church she attended. 

Cicely teaches online through Outschool and was identified as a "High-Quality" Educator on the platform. She teaches a variety of classes ranging from Pre-K Circle Time to College Prep.

Cicely has her Bachelor’s in Business Administration and after completing two years of AmeriCorps she realized her passion for educating and providing resources to underserved communities and went on to get her Master’s in Educational Leadership. She writes curriculum, workbooks, and more. She began this company to bridge gaps and provide access to quality education and career/college planning for students at-risk.

Cicely is passionate about education and provides classes for all ages.

Cicely is an amazing teacher. We decided to try this class with our 4 year old as a way to have him interact with some kids and have another teacher besides mom and dad. And while he was very shy at first, Cicely and the other students quickly made him feel comfortable. She does a great job at keeping the kids engaged with lots of activities, songs, stories and games. She is very patient, understanding, fun and extremely caring. You can tell she truly cares about her students.
